Who is the author of this website? Very useful.

Do you have other similar websites? Consumer law as it relates to property for example.

    Thanks

I’m a little confused about the rules for websites. Do we have to have a Spanish translation ON the website itself or just translations on our mailing/e-mailing material?

    Fiona W Says:

The English translation repeatedly mentions the offering of property for sale. Does this mean that if a seller advertises on a FSBO website, given that the property is in Andalucia, has to comply with the law?

    ANSWER:

    Dear Matthew,

All materials, printed, web, video, etc., etc., must be available in Spanish. It is also possible to have additional languages, but Spanish is the minimum requirement for all advertising and communication material.

    Kind regards,

    ANSWER:

    Dear Fiona,

FSBO = for sale by owner, does NOT require compliance with Decreto 218/2005. Please note that the website or the medium of communication of any FSBO offers and advertising must not belong to a professional for-profit real estate agency or organisation.
